TOP WELLNESS TIPS FOR OCTOBER
I believe that wellness is a lifestyle. It’s not a fad, trend or something I go in and out of. From the moment I wake up to the time I go to bed, I choose to do things based on how good I want to feel and how I want my happiness to grow. I am conscious about the food I eat, the way I move my body, the people I surround myself with, how I nurture my mind, what I do to enhance my creativity, and so much more. My ultimate goal is to the live my best life! And it’s my passion to share that with others. Here are a few key things I incorporate into my every day to help me keep my balance:
Try to eat food that compliments your body’s natural rhythm, how you’re feeling and what your body needs at a specific time. Try to also keep your food as close to its natural state as possible. The less processed the better.
It never goes out of fashion. Drinking 1.5 to 2 litres a day works wonders for your beauty regime, inside and out.
Dedicating time to being ‘present’, letting go of your thoughts and slowing the mind and body on a regular basis can have powerful effects on your wellbeing. Meditation helps keep your internal clock calm, giving your mind and body a good chance to restore and repair. You’ll also notice a greater connection to your intuition and how your body is feeling on a deeper level.
I believe in moving your body in ways that you love and tuning in daily to listen to what it needs. Whether it’s getting outside and doing a 15-20 minute walk at the end of the day to wind down or attending a high intensity fitness session, you’ve just got to keep moving! Move your body and try new things. Humans are designed to move and it’s really important.
